Locals who open their homes to hikers. The app connects both sides.
Trail Angels are one of the things that make this trail special. The app makes hosting and being hosted simple and respectful of everyone's time.
For hikers
- See Angels near each segment and what they offer: sleeping arrangement, shower, rides, free or paid.
- Send a booking request with your dates and group size, then chat in the app.
- Get a notification when the Angel approves. Phone numbers are shared only after approval.
- Leave a rating afterwards to help the next hiker.
For Trail Angels
- Register in the app in a few minutes. No forms to email anyone.
- Set the days you host, the maximum number of guests and how much notice you need.
- Approve or decline requests from your phone. Your number is never shown before you approve.
- Pause hosting whenever life gets busy. Hikers only see you when you are available.

Questions hikers ask
Does it work without reception?
Yes. Download the offline map from the app (it is a large file, so use Wi‑Fi). The map, the trail line and your position all work offline. Chats, bookings and other community features need a connection.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The app is free, with no ads and no in‑app purchases.
Do I need an account?
Not for browsing the trail. Sign in with Google or Apple when you want to chat, rank segments, share points, book Angels or find Trail Mates.
Which languages does it support?
English, Hebrew and German are fully translated. Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Dutch are also available.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: open the menu, choose Sign Out and tick “Delete all my data”. Your profile, bookings, personal points and account are removed. Details are in the privacy policy.
